Tildas

Here are my Tilda dolls by the brilliant designer Tone Finnanger. I love her books and love creating her designs as they are so well designed and a pleasure to sew. She has so many amazing books and designs I'm so excited about making more from her books.. I just need the time!

They are so much fun to accessorise and dress up!

This ones been dressed in a pretty nightgown and pearl necklace...

Also from the books I've created these....

A cute stuffed hen

Some cute stuffed birds....

Haunted House Mini Book

Here's a little mini book I made using last years photos. I had been really looking forward to making this I could picture In my head exactly what I wanted to do... I was just waiting for the right papers. I eventually settled for pink paislee a collection called phantom so that's what's been used for the pages. I also have the coordinating stamps which are lovely. A lot of the embellishments are by echo park, chillingsworth a collection which I LOVE. It's a stunning line I adore it and I would have used the papers for the whole book but I had already started my book and came across this collection after. Still am really pleased with how it's turned out. The cover was hand drawn and cut out and some of the pages have secret flaps and pockets holding more photos. The binding of the book was done by hand a technique called stack the deck which I found on you tube. I have also used some lush halloween stamps by MME throughout this project.

I'm back!!

I'm back and raring to go, I can't believe I haven't blogged in over 3 years! TJ Is almost 4 now and demanding my time more than ever, not that I'm complaining its such a wonderful age he's so inquisitive and cheeky he certainly keeps me on my toes. He's also in total awe of my craft room so it has now become 'our' craft room and I'm more than happy to share it with him... he's ever so good and for a three and a half year old certainly respects mummys things! I've been getting up to loads of 'craftiness' so I intend to share my treasures with you all from now on ;-D
